Download the latest SAP HANA installation package from the SAP Software Download Center. You’ll need a valid SAP S-user ID with download permissions.
Unpack the downloaded archive to your installation directory:
tar -xvzf IMDB_SERVER20_*.SAR -C /hana/install
Use the SAPCAR tool if the file is a .SAR archive.
Navigate to the extracted directory and run the installation tool:
cd /hana/install
./hdblcm
This will launch an interactive installation process in the terminal.
Select the installation type:
